I recently got the opportunity to shoot for Story Track (storytrack.com) in Haiti. We were shooting for a company called Make It Safe for Kids (MFK). Here’s a bit from their website about what they do:

“Our Mission: Make It Safe for Kids (MFK) is dedicated to saving the lives of Haiti’s malnourished children and other nutritionally vulnerable groups.

We accomplish our mission by devloping, producing, and distributing highly nutritious foods, including the gold-standard Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF). We make our food products in Haiti, using Haitian workers and, whenever possible, Haitian raw materials. Haitians call our RUTF “Medika Mamba” – or “Peanut Butter Medecine” in Creole.”

It was quite an amazing experience and a great opportunity to be a part of for a moment. Here is a finished fundraising video featuring footage I shot:

While I was there I had the chance to shoot some 3D. This video should give you a good sense of what it is really like in Haiti. There is always so much going on. Layers and layers of rich detail and activity make for great 3D.
